Kay Burin has a distinguished background in the management of information technology services. Near the beginning of her career, more than twenty-five years ago, she worked as Network Operations Manager for Southwestern Bell, managing 3 regional call centers. From there, she joined Bellocore where she developed and delivered 16 couses in the Data Communications District and set up a world-wide applications lab demonstrationg such disciples as Collaborative Graphic Artwork (Chicago-London-Hong Kong), Interactive component training via Video Conferencing (New York-Chicago-San Francisco), and Radiology/Medical Imaging (Atlanta-Huntsville-Chicago-Houston). After a stint as lead engineer for a Sprint project (managing a team of engineers in the integration, implmentation and training of Sprint System Engineers nationwide), she moved to KMC Telecom, as Vice President for Data Services/Advanced Technologies, where she was responsible for positioning, strategiv planning, and implementation of multiple products and services using new technologies, as well as being responsible for the complex project management of IT and VOIP-based applications.

From KMC, she moved to AT&T as Director/VP, where her responsibilities included the integrated vice/data/video infrastructure (including the Call Center), the concurrent management of VOIP implementation in seven locations (including military locations). She had total responsibility for IT technical support for Financial Industry customers such as Fidelity and Merrill Lynch. She also had hands-on experience and responsibility for a spectrum of multi-media technology/applications.

Ms. Burin is currently with Telmark Global Solutions, a company affiliated with Vertech, where she is responsible for the relationship business development and technical support teams for NCR, Nortel, XO, Verizon Wireless, Cingular, AT&T, DeutscheBank and Bank of Scotland.
