We dig dig dig dig dig dig dig
in our mine the whole day through,
To dig dig dig dig dig dig dig
is what we really like to do,
To get rich quick, it ain't no trick
If you dig dig dig with a shovel and a pick
In a mine! In a mine! In a mine! In a mine!
Where a million diamonds shine!
From Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

We thought we'd pause in our day's recreation and take a second look at what some people do for a living. Yep, they're all still beavering away. Here's our return visit to the "World of Work" theme park.

To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, take a leisurely tour through these sweat-streaked climes, clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page, including this one.

Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came. Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble.

We change the show every month, so check back around the December 20th when we'll greet the Winter Solstice.

P.S. If you click on "Paul Starrett Sample" under the picture above, you will be taken to its home site.
