THE THEME OF THE MONTH IS
"WINING AND DINING -- WOMEN ALONE"

About this time seven years ago, we ran our first Wining and Dining ThemePark. After a couple of years, as we accumulated images for the Second Annual Wining and Dining Extravaganza, we found that Woman, wining and/or dining on her own, is a favorite subject for painters. There were so many good paintings of Women alone, that we decided to give them a Park of their very own; this is the fourth time they've gone there all by their lonesomes. You can view the third visit (as well as other ThemeParks past) by clicking on the pArkive link at the bottom of the page. (The link to the Artphabet is also down there).

Several of the images in this month's Women Alone ThemePark are holdovers from their first three tours of the Park. The rest have been gathered since.

To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, follow the women by clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page (including this one). To see the title of an image, hold your cursor over the image for a few seconds.

Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came. Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble.

We change our theme around the 20th of each month, so check back in late June when we'll greet the summer solstice.
