What Shall We Buy (the Warsaw Ghetto)
The Themeof the Month is "Urban Life"
.

This is our fifth visit to the City and we've found Urban Life quite enjoyable. Some of these images were with us when we visited earlier, others we encountered over the past few years.

To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, take a leisurely tour down these mean streets, clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page (including this one). To see the title of the picture, pass your cursor over the image, if you are using Internet Explorer, or place your cursor on the image, right-click to bring up the dialog box, then click on "properties".

Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came. Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble. The picture at the top of the page, "What Shall We Buy? (Warsaw Ghetto)" is by Zvi Silverstein. To our knowledge, it is no longer available elsewhere on the net.

We change the theme every month, so be sure to check back around November 20th, when we'll take a look at what the kiddies are doing.
