This is the First Reading. There were so many nice images of people reading various things that we thought it was time to stack them in their own carel.

To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, skim through the Park, clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page (including this one). Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came (the cartoon above can be found at http://www.eugenewei.com/images/misc/babar-newyorker-cartoon.jpg).

Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble.

To see the titles of the images shown here, pass your mouse over the image if you are using Internet Explorer. If you are using Firefox, right click on the image and then click on Properties. The title is shown after "Alternate Text". To see ThemeParks from months-gone-by, click on pArkive at the bottom of the page.

The next ThemePark, opening about August 20, will get you out of the library and into the saloon.
