| There is music in the beauty, and the silent note which Cupid strikes, far sweeter than the sound of an instrument; for there is music wherever there is harmony, order, or proportion; and thus far we may maintain the music of the spheres. Sir Thomas Browne |

... and I love music in the summer, when it sizzles... |

A Summer trio of musicians... This is our fourth summertime concert in the ThemePark. A few of the images are holdovers from the first two performances. The others have just joined the band. To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, take our orchestrated tour, clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page (including this one). If you use IE as your browser, you can get the title of the work by passing your mouse over the image. If you use Firefox, put your cursor on the image and right-click. The title will show after "alternate text". Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came. Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble. Our next ThemePark will eavesdrop on some Conversations so check back around November 20 to get the good word. P.S. You can find Beryl Cook's "Meadow Suite" at http://www.alexander-gallery.co.uk/work_detail.asp?uid=133&artUID=43 Marc Chagall |
