Upon the Vernal Equinox
Arises spring-like patter,
And little love-dovey sounds
Between each Nymph and Satyr.
But as the timepiece ticks and tocks
And buds no longer matter,
Lean Satry still plays on his pipes
But that Nymph is getting fatter.

Primavera
Sandro Botticelli -- La Primavera

This is our sixth Spring in the "ThemePark".

Some of these images (including the Botticelli here) are hold-overs from the previous four gambols. We've accumulated the rest over the course of the year.

To see the images, either click on the name of the artist in the list below or, if you prefer, take a leisurely tour through these balmy climes, by clicking on the "next" arrows at the bottom of each page (including this one).

Each of the images is accompanied by a link to the place from whence it came. Most of the links go to graphics sites, which tend to carry heavy traffic. The result is that you may have problems connecting to them. Keep at it -- most of the sites are well worth the trouble.

We change our theme on the 20th of each month, so check back in late April to find out where all the Women went.

P.S. If you click on "Sandro Botticelli" under the picture above, you will be taken to its home site.
